Serving God- an act of worship.
Hello people. Tiffany just inspired me to blog. HAHA.
Hi Tiffy, here's what i wanna say :
This is supposed to go to R-age publications, but i couldnt find the email , so i didnt want to do it at first. HA, so yup. When i first entered R-age, there was this rather simple looking book mark that i received in the visitor's pack i think. it says : 1 Timonthy 4:12 but here's more.
11Command and teach these things. 12Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. 13Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching. 14Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through a prophetic message when the body of elders laid their hands on you.
yup. but of cos it didnt speak right to me. but i kept it, and when i saw it again, i feel encouraged. =) to me, i always want to make full use of my youth to serve God. becos this is the most precious time, or say, the period of time when im most energetic to serve. for me, its a passion.

yup. im glad that this is a passion , not a hobby, not an interest. =) its the best time to serve when u're young, cos u've alot of potential to try things out. ( or at least this is what i thk youths are capable of ) yes of cos, one can still serve even in their 20s,30s, or whatever age, so long so they want to. but why not start now ? ;) i dont deny that it takes alot of courage to step out of the comfort zone to serve. becos serving God and His people means less time for myself, more mtgs to attend, more attention on my cell members more commitments etc. but does these not build me up? does these not help me grow? i grow. ( i will have alot to share, but another time)
Yup, of cos, you're new in grace ( have u decided to settle down, i dunno . tell me yea? ) if it is a passion in you, then go on. nobody is too young to serve. it is natural to have ur fears, but dont force urself to make a decision so soon yup? im sure, sure that God will answer you. ( oh ya i got a testimonial to share for my chem prac ohmygosh! ) yup. and its very good for u to feel this way! i mean, its precious. not everyone will have this attitude.

6For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. 7For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.
